What makes DC special to you?
Washington, DC is a vibrant city with a diverse nightlife scene. Some popular areas for nightlife in DC are Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and the U Street corridor. Dupont Circle has trendy bars and clubs, while Georgetown is more upscale and features a mix of bars and restaurants. The U Street corridor has a vibrant music scene, with a bunch of live music venues. Additionally, there are several rooftop bars and lounges in the city that offer great views of the city. Washington, DC offers a lot of options to those looking for a night out on the town.
What’s your favorite memory associated with living here?
It’s worth getting out of the downtown, monumental core of the city; you will discover that it is an extremely pleasant place to live. Nice settled neighborhoods, lots of parks and open spaces, good public transport, and a huge range of shopping choices. It also has a great theater restaurant scene.
Can you recommend a great place to have drinks with a provider?
There are so many beautiful places. One of my favorite rooftop cocktail lounges is Vue rooftop. The view of the White House and the city is unparalleled! The drinks are amazing as well.
Tell us about a restaurant that you love.
Mastros Steak House is one of my top five favorite restaurants in DC. The food is outstanding and the view is amazing. Definitely the perfect place to go for a nice date.
Where can you find the best coffee in the city?
The Coffee Bar has the best coffee in the Logan Circle neighborhood. Cool vibes, and exceptional drinks. I love a vanilla latte… This is a hidden gem and a great place to meet a client and get more acquainted.
What is the best museum in DC?
There are many amazing free museums in Washington DC. The best are:
- The National Museum of African American History and Culture
- The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum
- The National Gallery of Art
Is there a wonderful place to take a walk?
Floral Park is a great place to take a walk. The cherry trees are beautiful during the peak bloom, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in the background is beautiful.
Where could a client take you on a wild shopping spree?
National Harbor is a massive, resort-like destination just across the Potomac River from Downtown Washington DC. They have the trendy shops that would be the most top tier place for a shopping spree.
Are there any venues, shows, or festivals you particularly love?
I’m a big fan of the film festival. DC has one every year called Filmfest DC. And The Kennedy Center always puts on a good Broadway show.
What’s your perfect DC day out?
From a sunrise stroll to cocktails, with plenty of culture and shopping in between. Then a nice steak dinner at the Capital Grill, ending at one of DC’s beautiful rooftop lounges.
