Welcome back to our interview series A Tryst About Town, where we ask a provider to take us through their favourite spots in their home city. Today we're joined by Las Vegas Escort Vanessa Taylor to take us around Vegas!
What makes Las Vegas so special to you?
Vegas is unlike any other city in America. The tourists see the glitz and glamour of the Strip – but then there’s the local flavor, which truly sets the city apart. Vegas becomes something special when you start to appreciate both sides of it. The city that gives you the ability to enjoy fresh, flavorful Korean BBQ at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday, while having one-of-a-kind stage shows that can’t be rivaled, and is also home to breathtaking national parks with stunning desert landscape – all while being so close to any type of terrain you might crave. And let’s not forget the convenience of worldwide travel – getting to Vegas is effortless and affordable.
What’s your favorite memory associated with living here?
I honestly can’t just pick one. There are so many memories in this town that will stay with me long after I leave Nevada. Just thinking about it makes me smile – like the place where I had a life-changing connection on a first date, or the time I laughed and sang along at an impersonator show, and that salty kiss that still makes me feel all hot when I think about it. Vegas brings me things I will cherish for the rest of my life.
What’s the best casino and why?
The Venetian/Palazzo complex, hands down. It’s not just gorgeous – it’s a place where there’s something for everyone. Whether you're in the mood for amazing food, lounging by the pool, catching a world-class show, or unwinding with a spa day, you can do it all without ever leaving the property.
And here’s the best part: every room is a suite, so you get all the space and comfort you could want. Oh, and parking? No stress. It’s easy and hassle-free – something you definitely won’t find everywhere on the Strip!
Can you tell us about a great bar in the city?
This one’s off the Strip, tucked away in the Arts District – just a quick trip from your hotel. It’s called Velveteen Rabbit, and it’s a must for any cocktail lover. The bartenders here are true mixologists. Tell them what flavors you’re into, and they’ll whip up something special.
Maybe you’re all about gin but want nothing to do with bacon and are allergic to cranberries, or you’re craving something citrusy with no brown liquor, but sugar’s fine? Whatever your quirks, they’ll craft the perfect cocktail to suit your vibe.
Not in the mood for something bespoke? No problem – their seasonal menu has creative drinks that’ll definitely stir your senses.
Tell us about an extravagant restaurant that you love.
First, a quick disclaimer: Vegas changes fast, and new restaurants pop up practically every day!
For steak, my go-to is Cleaver, just off the Strip. It’s the second spot from the team behind Herb’s and Rye, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal there. The service is exceptional, too, which makes the experience even better.
If seafood is more your thing, you can’t go wrong with Milos. But if you’re feeling a little adventurous, venture off the Strip to Other Mama. It’s absolutely worth the trip, especially if you’re into raw seafood – it’s a standout spot!
What’s something cute to do together on a date in Vegas?
Well, that depends on your definition of 'cute!' A great place to kick things off is Area 15 – it’s got something for everyone. You can explore immersive art exhibits, dive into virtual reality, or even play old-school arcade games.
If you’re feeling playful, the outdoor playground at Container Park is always fun, or you can check out the indoor Play Playground for adults at Luxor. Into golf? Try Swinger Mini Golf at Mandalay Bay, KISS-themed mini-golf at Rio, or Topgolf, just off the Strip.
For something more educational (or quirky), the Atomic Museum, Mob Museum, or Erotic Museum might be up your alley – depending on your mood, of course!
And you can’t go wrong with dinner and a show, whether separate or combined. Try Fork & Film, where the meal matches the movie, or a supper club with live entertainment while you dine.
What can I say? It’s Vegas – there’s no end to the fun!
Where can travelers find the best day spa in town?
Fontainebleau is the newest casino in town, and its spa is in a league of its own. The ambiance is serene, the amenities are top-tier, and the service is impeccable. One of the standout features is the co-ed area, perfect for relaxing with a partner.
What’s your recommended hotel for people who are visiting?
If gambling isn’t your thing, I highly recommend the Ahern. It’s a bit of a hidden gem – not as well known, but an excellent hotel with free parking, fantastic restaurants, a central location, and an exceptional level of cleanliness which is kind of my thing.
For the ultimate Strip experience, head to The Cosmopolitan and book a balcony room. Trust me, there’s nothing quite like soaking in a luxurious tub while taking in the dazzling views of the Bellagio fountain, Paris Eiffel Tower, and the Linq all at once.
If you’re heading to downtown Fremont, Circa is the way to go – strictly 21 and over. It’s home to the largest sportsbook and a spectacular rooftop lounge that’s perfect for drinks and unforgettable views. It’s easily one of my favorite lookout spots!
What is your ideal social date with a client?
I absolutely love going to concerts and shows in Vegas. There's something so special about the entire experience. Dinner and a show is my top request – it’s my favorite kind of date. The perfect mix of great food and incredible entertainment, all wrapped up in one night.
Where could a client take you on a wild shopping spree?
The Wynn/Encore has the best selection of upscale brands, making it the perfect place for a wild shopping spree. It’s easily the most beautiful casino in Vegas.
What’s your perfect Vegas day out?
My perfect day would begin waking up together, taking our time as we linger in bed – no rush, no work obligations, just the two of us enjoying each other’s company. We’d have a relaxed lunch at one of the unique food spots Vegas has to offer, then head to a body of water for a swim. Yes, water in the desert – whether it’s a beautiful lake, a luxurious pool, or a private couples’ tub at the spa, it’s the perfect way to unwind. Afterward, we’d retreat back to our room for a little more intimate time before heading out to a Vegas Golden Knights hockey game. Then, we’d take a stroll down the Strip, taking in the sights and feeling the heat between us, before heading to our evening adventures... who knows where the night will take us!
